Sunday, August 30, 2009 from noon to ???? there is a luncheon for Magnolia Farms CSA members and guests. Magnolia Farms is in Live Oak, Florida. It is a taste testing so the participating farmer and ranchers can show off their delectable dishes. Considered being a CSA member? This might be one to try. I will be there with lamb and goat.

Do not give your money to Magnolia Farms! I am a member of their CSA and I have never been treated so poorly! I received terribly small produce with no variety whatsoever. it cost $20 a week to belong and I barely got $5 worth of vegetables. Then the farm kept asking members to give more and more money for various costs and refusing to deliver to agreed upon pick-up spots. It was a horrible experience and a terrible waste of money. Google them to find out all the other people who are upset with this farm as well. it's not just me...I promise.
