Our hens have started laying. We are getting up to two dozen a day now with the newest girls just getting started.

The Red Star is a brown egg layer that meets our specifications; easy to raise, ranges freely and then returns to its covered roost at dusk. We received our chicks in October and they began laying at 22 weeks. They are showing great promise.

Our price for a dozen of these healthy eggs is $4.00. And we'll take your cartons to recycle. Most folks come by to pick up a dozen or so every week. See Visit Us for directions.
